* Wash the green beans and then clean them eliminating the extremities.
        * Fill a stockpot with water and bring to boil. Add a pinch of salt, the green beans, and boil for about 5 to 10 minutes, or until the green beans will be tender. Drain in a colander
        * In a skillet put the olive oil, and turn the heat to medium. Add the onion and sauté until tender and translucent. 
        * Add the green beans, salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
