Pizza with Garlic, Tomato and Oregano
Pizza con Origano, Pomodoro e Aglio
Preheat oven to 500 F (260 C). Chop the tomato removing the seed and watery part. Place the tomatoes in a small bowl.

Add oregano and garlic.

Add olive oil and toss.

 Spread evenly the tomato mix on the pizza dough.

Bake the pizza for approximately 20 - 25 minutes.  Lift one side to check for readiness. Pizza is ready when the bottom surface is light golden brown.

1 lb (1/2 kg) fresh, very ripe “on the vine” cherry tomatoes

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped

salt

one tablespoon fresh oregano leaves
